Altitis is the blog I started in June 2007 on blogspot, while playing Word of Warcraft. I had some things to say and needed a soapbox for that, so a blog seemed like a good idea at that time, not knowing exactly how far the journey would take me. I blogged with a paladin slant until early 2009, when real life called and I quit playing – and blogging.
What you will find here are out of date World of Warcraft posts, some various considerations and musings often tied to gaming, and since Winter 2011, Lord of the Rings Online related stuff – from a newbie’s perspective at first.
I’m a trainer by trade and have a passion for sharing information, so posts about mechanisms, graphs, attempts at explaining or simplifying mechanisms are all part of the things that will creep onto the blog from time to time.
The person behind the blog persona is in his late thirties, lives in Switzerland and works in IT, a casual gamer with an incurable affliction of acute Altitis.
