About
Altitis is the blog I started in June 2007 on blogspot. I had some things to say and needed a soapbox for that, so a blog seemed like a good idea at that time, not knowing exactly how far the journey would take me. I initially meant remaining as broad as possible due to the many toons I played. In the meantime, though, my Blood Knight hit level 70, I discovered arenas, and the focus has narrowed down a bit, hence the “with a paladin slant” in Altitis’ subtitle.
The altitis virus might bite me again any time though, so nothing is firm and definite there, by far.
What you will find in Altitis are:
- My WoW journal, relating my more recent experiences
- Every so often, an AddOn review, which I hope you will find interesting
- An account of my arena weeks, when we actually managed to play
- Whenever appropriate, some theorycraft / analysis of specific game mechanics
- From time to time, a couple of macros
- And whenever something irks me, a good old-fashioned rant.
The person behind the blog persona is in his mid-thirties, lives in Switzerland, works in IT, and spends a bit too much of his free time in WoW, when my little family is sound asleep.
