I agree, none of the analysis that I’ve seen (or performed myself) clearly points towards Diablo 3 as the announcement. From the splash screens themselves there is much, much more evidence pointing towards a WotLK announcement of some kind, heck even a Lost Vikings MMO has more corroboration than D3. Also, a lot is made of ‘Splash Screens meaning something HUGE!’, but people tend to forget that even the re-skin of the battle.net website was teased. WotLK entering Beta (with proper Trailer) would certainly fit the bill.
My head says Wrath. However my heart says Diablo 3.
I don’t think it’s going to start tomorrow, but I definitely think it’s announcement about the WotLK Beta. I like suicidal zebra’s trailer idea, but really only because I really love all of Blizzard’s Rendered Videos.
