Blogger One Among Many asks what you would do differently if you could start over.
The first classes I levelled up with any kind of dedication were a rogue followed by a warlock, two classes which are on the upper range in terms of levelling speed. I think looking back and knowing what I know today, I would have started by the paladin followed by a priest and a druid, these classes I have the hardest time to make progress with any kind of speed.
My first toons tried many crafting professions, and as many others will tell you, I would stick to dual gathering. Further, I’d level cooking, first aid and fishing while levelling, not once I’m sitting at the level cap.
Beyond that, the good thing when you have altitis is that you actually can and do start over on a regular basis

Messyah is trying to convince me to get mining with my herbage (on Tigershark) while I store the herbs for the day I decide to pickup Alchemy.
For now, I might do it…old habits die hard though.

I always make my alts with crafting professions (dual gathering is boring), and I always send them mats and gold to powerlevel their craft in the hopes that the amount of money I’ve spent on them will prevent me from deleting them.
It doesn’t work.

My first ever char was/is my main. The Paladin. I started holy and didn’t respec till I left my first level 70 raid guild.
I am so glad I got the slowest possible level grind out the way first and can now enjoy levelling my other faster toons!!
The biggest mistake I made was not levelling fishing as I was levelling. The slog from level 50ish up to 375 was horrendous. I don’t make that mistake with my alts!!
My Pally is Miner/Skinner (don’t want to have to switch between trackers all the time) so I have plenty of supplies for my AH toon to make money with and to supply my engineer, blacksmith and jewelcrafter.
I Dual box so my next highest character a 62 warlock is on my other account so that I can even enchant soulbound items on HolyWarrior.
