Grats on the upgrade and also your respec!

As 41/20/0 PVP spec on my Pally, I find myself limited to tanking easy 5mans like BM (I do a pseudo gear swap with some 2 pc of Righteous and other random +DEF blue drops)---I have Imp. Righteous Fury and Holy Shock makes for a pretty good burst of threat, I just lack the ability to really go all out on pulling tons of trash mobs due to no Holy Shield.

Tanking for Heroics are out of the question still, and I've only healed as her in Heroic Ramparts and Steamvaults (but the group was all guild and top notch). I've been trying to tinker out a viable Protection spec that works in both PVP/PVE for a few months now, but until Blizzard changes the way Silence effects the Paladin class and unbloats the number of talents required for the Prot tree, I find Holy Shock and Light's Grace to be must have's for a PVP Pally.

Some of my best in-game friends have been found via the PuG. I think PuGs get too harsh of a rap most of the time. In fact many times I prefer the new blood of a PuG over the same old faces I see every day in guild. Grats on the new chest, keep on puggin!

I too have to chime in on the note of pugs working out sometimes. I did most instances on my horde main in random pugs, and they went well enough to end up grouping with a few people several times as well as add them to my friends list. Sure, there were bad groups in there, but when you get into a good pug you're likely to group up again with at least one of the members and remember the experience.

Gratz on the Chest piece and on going the extra mile to actually help someone in need as a Tank instead of just logging off for the night. Not all PuG are bad, but some will be but many good players you find in PuGs that become friends added to list. Often you run into those people in other 5 mans in grouping. Maybe next time you get the Devil Shark Cape that drops from that same boss if you don't have it already.
