Looks like November really is my “Firsts” month - same situation as Monday, a spot freeing up right as a log on, a summonning only moments later, and after taking out some trash, here comes Mr. Moroes. This time we had “borrowed” a guest tank who sat on about 18.8k unbuffed, and with all the available buffs, our official guild tank (who fortunately didn’t have to log off in a rush this time) was around 14.8k himself. I took the overgeared guest tank, our Guild Leader focussed on our own. Longish fight, but a clean kill, one battle rez, no mistakes. Basically he just stood there keeping us waiting for a while before surrendering his loot.
The addition of Badges of Justice is one thing Blizzard did right with patch 2.3 - even if nothing drops for you (albeit I would have felt bad rolling on anything, I somehow have qualms about getting an invite for, basically, just killing a boss and then making off with the pot o’gold), you are certain to exit the instance with something which will, eventually, lead to better kit.
For the rest, nothing to say. As is often the case, when everything goes well, there’s little room for analysis or criticism, so apart from learning this fight as a healer, there weren’t many lessons to take away (contrary to a wipe). Note to self: start worrying about WWS before the next raid, that way there’s at least a way to check and analyse your performance.
