So after the server transfer, my pallie main was feeling lonely just sharing the roster with his brand new banking mule.
To give her some company, I currently started:
- A Mage
- A Shaman
- A Rogue
- Two Hunters (tauren deleted at level 6)
- A Priest
I believe the mage and the hunter will make it to 20 to take advantage of patch 2.3 changes. And then we’ll see where it goes. Perhaps I’ll take the shammie along for the ride too, I’d love to toy around with chain heal / chain drink in AV. For the other two, I don’t know. To me, Rogue is immensely fun to play for about 30 minutes, but I have a level 52 one who hasn’t gained even 1 exp since December. I think I’ll eventually spec him shadowstep after the patch goes live and entertain myself in AV for a while.
And priest. With having a druid eventually breaking the level 20 barrier a couple of months ago, priest now has the dubious honour of remaining the one single class I’ve never levelled to 20, where the fun is supposed to begin with melting faces. Until you max spirit tap, priest may just be the thirstiest class in the game. Another attempt to overcome that and at least break my record level 17 on that guy.
Hunter is the same as ever. The first 10 levels are just dreadful, at least until concussive shot gives more time to deal ranged damage. Acquiring your pet is definitely totally game-changing for the class, and I still wonder sometimes why they chose to give the locks their imp at level 2 but had you play melee nuntard till 10. I’m just hoping that the shortened minimal shooting range will at least allow you to get a fourth autoshot in from max distance, pre concussive shot. At least the fun starts at level 10.
Mage is as ever, and similar to rogue. Wicked fun for a while, and then I need to play something different. But just standing / blinking around while nuking stuff to cinders remains very relaxing for a while.
They’re all at or slightly below level 8 now. Should give me some relief from mining / herbing for that blasted epix mount.

Most my Alts are at level 10, at most lvl 20. My highest Alt is my Hunter at 23. I love playing the Hunter when i do its just time to relax and shoot everything in site with the pet and kill everything.
However …..my Alts don’t get any love at all from me though. I rarely every play them.
Alliance side:
- 70 NE Druid
- 62 NE Hunter
- 51 Human Rogue (bank mule!)
- 41 Human Mage
- 26 Draenei Hunter
- 22 Dwarf Priest
- 20 Human Paladin
- 17 Human Warrior (2nd bank mule)
And Horde Side created around a week ago:
- 20 Belf Lock
- 17 Belf Pala
Also had and deleted quite some months ago:
- 43 Gnome Lock
- 30ish Shamman (Horde)
Plus a few others that didn’t get to 20!
As you can see, I suffer from Altitis as well! It’s soooo boring those endless grinds for that last piece of epic gear, only to have to re-do that again when the new expansion comes… Heck, my druid only had 3 Tier 0.5 pieces at a HUGE expense in both time and mats/gold and the very few quest rewards would replace them all with better greens! What’s the point of those endless-never-ever-drops runs?
So, I take it to have fun alone with different chars, different ways of solving problems, even partying with strangers, rather than do a boring task that will all be to waste when the next expansion launches…
Alliance side:
70 Mage
70 Hunter
70 Priest
66 Warlock
62 Druid
61 Paladin
61 Shaman
61 Warrior
61 Rogue
Horde:
11 Mage
I don’t have bank mules. All of my alliance alts have all bank slots opened, all are using imbued netherweave bags for inventory, and all mooncloth bags for bank slots. All have epic land mounts, and atm I can afford all non-epic flying mounts for them, once they get to 70. Lulz.
I lost call my alts a server transfer as well and havent had the motivation to restart them.
I was thinking a warrior but I am debating human vs draenei based on racials. (No gnomes. No dwarves.)
I miss my old alts really. :/ I like to be distracted by alts but I hate rolling from lvl 1.
