The bad: Didn’t get a chance to run Arena with Steptoe
The good: That was also in part due to logging on Sunday evening a mere 800 honour away from getting my new purple healing greaves.
So after spending most of last week losing EotS to collect the 40 marks I needed, Saturday concluded that part, and I ended 3k short for the boots.
I got some playtime on Sunday afternoon, and on the evening, Steptoe joined me to play Bunker-buster in AV during a couple of matches. Instead of single-mindedly focussing on the offense, we went after SH Bunker (which horde seems to forget about these days), then made ourselves be a pain in the alliance’s butt recapping IB tower, tower point, FW GY and the two FW towers when we could. On our last game, which dragged on and on and on, I also convinced him to join me for some Trogg killing, we finally both have our AV trinkets (a mere couple of points off Exalted rep… to think I soloed the alliance version without any problems on my level 60 lock… bleh).
When honour finally rolled over, I had 4200 points to show for the day – more than I ever had the patience to farm for under the new system.

To be honest bunker busting as you put it was way more fun than th mindless attack. granted way less hk and kb but more fun. maybe because it was so different from what I was used to.
Was very entertaining anyway some points in that should have been recorded for a pvp video
I’m still laughing at our assault on IB Tower with 3 warriors guarding it.
For other readers, Adventsparky here has some pretty imba PvP gear these days and eats average-geared players for breakfast.
A ‘bg/arena stories’ blog post would be interesting/entertaining. If you could be bothered noting some of the better things that happen.
I don’t know about you but I find those things interesting to read as they give an insight into other peoples games.
