Foton of AFKGamer offers us a raider’s view on why Kara blows - it fully resonates with my own point of view, but is better written and has the advantage of being backed up by direct experience of the damn place.
Karazhan is the place where many guilds go to die. Tigole and his “we love catassing and will do everything to appeal to the 0.01% of the playerbase who does too” crowd are a living demonstration how you can run a 9-million players game without really having a clue what people actually experience in there.
As for Zul’Amman, the only thing it will provide is a progression for all the former 40-men guilds TBC has broken up to continue on as a 10-men guild instead of re-inflating back to 25. My reaction to that new place is basically along the lines of “shrug, another place I’ll never see”.
As I said previously, the really amazing thing is that WoW manages to stay fun despite it’s broken endgame. I just doubt this is Tigole’s doing.
