One Good PvP Hunter

Trapping skills in PvP are a lovely thing. In AB, I met a hunter from a different server (wish I paid attention to the name now) who grasped on early that I wasn’t here to play leet Ret DPS gimpathron, so he stuck close to me whenever he had a chance and placed freezing traps at my feet at ever opportunity instead of his own.

Time and time again a rogue or a warrior would come at me to take out the pesky healer, staying clear of the close-by hunter, only to end up enclosed in ice and soon facing an angry red pet and a world of hurt from afar.

I spoke about working for the team as a pallie in the previous post. This hunter is exactly the kind of players I’d want to associate with if I ever were to run in a preset. The sad reality is that most PUGs in BG are only obsessed with their position on the HK or damage score, and while they love the heals, they often don’t care about getting healer killers off your back. Players like this however are a rare gem.

Cheers and hats off to the unnamed PvP trapper.
