Macroing Raid Target Symbols

Useful for PUGs, if you’re the MT and have marks, you can use the one-line macro below when you switch to another target to assign the skull sign to it so everyone + dog knows who they should be nuking right now

/script SetRaidTarget("target",8);

Note that the symbols are as follows, by numeric value:

0 = no icon
1 = Yellow 4-point Star
2 = Orange Circle
3 = Purple Diamond
4 = Green Triangle
5 = White Crescent Moon
6 = Blue Square
7 = Red “X” Cross
8 = White Skull

Of course, using tools like oRA2, MainAssist or CTRA for instance, with their facilities to display tanks, their targets and their target’s target in a few smartly positionned frames or just paying attention to the kill order does the trick too, but sometimes there’s the occasional PUG where a big skull sign is more effective than a long explanation.
